Sydney & Ben {Wingate Plantation}

Wingate Plantation was heaven on earth, definitely a hidden gem on Johns Island that is perfectly peaceful for a southern wedding.

When we first met with Liz at Wingate Plantation to start the planning process, we were amazed at the sweeping oak trees and peaceful breeze Johns Island, SC is known for. Definitely a wedding venue to be considered for any Lowcounty wedding.

This bride had a wonderful vision and gifted us with some amazing vintage mix and match jars and vases which also kept costs down.

The bride chose a mix of subdued tones with saturated pops of color which included coral peonies, light pink Garden roses, coral hypericum berries, bright pink stock and dusty miller for the wildflower look.

The bridesmaids bouquets had a slightly more subdued palette with the same bright pink stock, light pink garden roses, monte casino aster, dusty miller and magnolia leaves.

The aisles were flanked by hanging arrangements of pink, purple & light pink stock, light pink hydrangea, monte casino aster, hypericum berries and dusty miller.

Wingate Plantation even has a tree swing under the oaks which was adorned by garden roses, monte casino aster and various greens.
